Shining Star Kids is owned and operated by the Simmons family. I am a highly-qualified Early Childhood-6th grade certified teacher with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education. I am also a former Cy-Fair Elementary School teacher with four years experience.

In addition to teaching experience for an awesome district, I  was a nanny for two families over a course of six years. During this time, I realized that working with children is my calling.
